"In our industry, we face new challenges every day that we can only overcome together. Different departments and people often have to work closely together for certain decisions and processes. This works because we (almost) always pull together as a team and in the same direction. For me, it's always a great experience to discuss different opinions, work out solutions together and then enjoy the results together. The often quoted catchphrase "flat hierarchies" is really lived at MEISINGER. I started as a Sales Manager and within seven years I was promoted to Regional Manager and then Sales Manager. "Keeping physically fit and looking after my health isn't just important to me in my private life. I sit in front of a screen a lot at work, while other colleagues spend many hours at their machines. Both are physically demanding and that's why I think it's great that MEISINGER attaches so much importance to health programmes in the company. This starts with free flu vaccinations and extends to joint sporting activities such as company runs, bowling tournaments, motorbike tours and yoga classes. I like the fact that I get a free check-up as part of health days and can even get counselling from psychologists or coaches in difficult situations.
