Controlled and gentle
Bone expansion
After prolonged edentulism, the jawbone often recedes so that it is not wide enough to accommodate a dental implant. Bone spreading makes it possible to gently widen the alveolar ridge so that even patients with a very narrow alveolar ridge do not have to forego the benefits of a dental implant.
The MEISINGER Bone Spreading and Condensing Systems are the minimally invasive alternative to hammer and chisel.
Simple and quick
Widening by up to 5 mm
The Crest-Control System is a horizontal bone spreading system that enables predeterminable and minimally invasive horizontal widening of the alveolar ridge, particularly in the distal lower jaw. With the proven Horizontal Spreaders, the alveolar ridge can be widened easily, quickly and in a controlled manner by up to 5 mm. An implant of all common systems can then be inserted into the widened segment.
Bone densification through
screw-shaped spreaders
The MEISINGER Split-Control systems are used for gentle widening of the alveolar ridge and simultaneous lateral bone densification in the case of horizontal bone deficiency. Horizontally resorbed bone can be gently expanded in a controlled manner (bone spreading) with the aid of special screw-shaped compaction and spreading instruments (spreaders). In addition, cancellous bone is condensed thanks to the special geometry of the spreader (bone condensing), thus increasing the primary stability of the inserted implants.
Combination of bone
Spreading and condensing
The Bone Management® system Split-Control Plus contains both the special helical spreaders of the Split-Control and the flat horizontal spreaders of the Crest-Control. The screw-shaped spreaders gently compact cancellous bone, while the horizontal spreaders allow the alveolar ridge to be spread by up to 5 mm. In this way, the jaw is optimally prepared for the insertion of a standard implant.
