This begins with the atraumatic extraction of teeth that are conventionally not worth preserving. Tooth extraction is one of the most common dental surgical procedures, which usually involves the use of forceps and a lever. Developed in collaboration with Dr Benno Syfrig, Benex®-Control, developed in collaboration with Dr Benno Syfrig, offers a minimally invasive alternative. Thanks to the ingenious design of the extraction system, the tooth root and tooth root fragments can be removed using the principle of a pulley block without damaging the bone or surrounding soft tissue. The reason for this is that (in contrast to the use of forceps and levers) no stress is exerted on the lateral bone walls. Atraumatic vertical extraction is particularly patient-friendly and offers very good conditions for subsequent implant placement. For optimum vertical force transmission, the Benex®-Control also includes a quadrant support. This ensures that the extractor lies flat and the tooth root can be removed straight. It also protects the existing residual dentition and provides a stable support for the extractor, particularly in edentulous situations.
