Gentle treatment of gingival tissue 

MEISINGER gingival trimmers are used in dental mucosal surgery. They have been developed for versatile and gentle treatment of gingival tissue. The working part is made of particularly high-quality and stable zirconium oxide. 

The MEISINGER gingival trimmers are used for the safe and gentle removal of unwanted granulation tissue and hyperplastic gingiva (papillectomy) - even in hard-to-reach areas. The trimmers are also used to widen the sulcus after preparation of the crown stump, for the best possible visualisation of the preparation margin and to create an exact impression. 

Gingival trimmers are particularly suitable for tissue-sparing exposure of concealed healed implants and in periodontal treatment. They are used without cooling so that the resulting rotational energy can be utilised for tissue modulation. The tendency to bleed is reduced thanks to the heat coagulation that takes place.
